Maison Maurice Your contribution will be donated to Maison Maurice, a non-profit organisation that wants to build a shelter for vulnerable children in Kisangani, Democratic Republic of Congo. But the non-profit organisation goes beyond building a shelter. Maison Maurice wants to set up projects that will give the local population a better quality of life. More specifically, these projects are intended to:
- improve the living conditions of the population by offering medical care, accommodation, education, employment and protection through a local approach.
- build a youth centre, where the local population can organise all kinds of activities, and a playground where different generations can gather.
- find a suitable foster family for each child and guide them in their search.
Maison Maurice believes that cooperation with the local population is very important and that the initiatives should be set up with the utmost respect to the community.
