This official Leeds United shirt was worn by Jonny Howson for the League One win against Colchester United at Elland Road in January 2010. Howson started in midfield and played the full 90 minutes, one more step on the road to promotion.
The shirt comes from a defining campaign for the Morley-born academy graduate. Shirts of this design were worn at Elland Road on the final day, when Howson's equaliser against Bristol Rovers sparked the comeback that sealed Leeds' return to the Championship. A homegrown favourite, Howson made 225 appearances and scored 28 goals for the club, including the last-minute strike at Carlisle that sent Leeds to Wembley in 2008.
