The funds will directly support South Asian participation in cricket by removing the barriers that often push young people out of the game. They will help single-parent families access sessions, create meaningful mentoring opportunities for older boys and girls who may feel cricket isn’t their future, and place them in roles they genuinely enjoy so they still feel valued and connected to the sport they love. The funding will also provide essential equipment for children who cannot afford their own. Every pound will help a young person grow, stay involved in cricket with dignity, confidence and purpose.
