United for UNICEFUNICEF’s Children’s Emergency Fund helps to provide rapid and effective response for children whenever and wherever conflict or disaster strikes. The Fund means UNICEF can respond immediately to help deliver access to water, sanitation, nutrition, education, health and protection services. In 2022, UNICEF called the children’s agency’s largest-ever emergency appeal, covering 145 countries and territories. The $9.4 billion required represents a 31% increase from 2021. This is a dire reflection of the situation faced by millions of children and their families around the world.
