Tournament Guide: Croatia Shirts 2026

One last dance

Croatia shirts from major tournaments always end up iconic, and this summer could be the most special yet.

A nation of under four million people has reached a World Cup final and a semi-final in the last two tournaments. With Luka Modrić leading them out in what is almost certainly his final tournament, the shirts worn in the USA, Canada, and Mexico will mean something for a very long time.

The match-worn and signed versions will be available straight from the pitch at the tournament.

Here's everything you need to know about Croatia's home and away shirts this summer.

Croatia home shirt 2026

Nike took the 1990 kit — the moment Croatia first wore the checkerboard on the global stage — and rebuilt it for 2026.

The classic red and white checks run vertically down the sides of the shirt with a gradient to white in the middle. It's a reinterpretation of the classic — close enough to trigger the nostalgia but sharp enough to feel entirely current.

Blue accents on the side panels. Crest placed centrally. And if you look closely, each individual square contains its own tiny geometric pattern hidden within it.

Croatia away shirt 2026

Same pattern, completely different mood.

The away shirt takes the checkerboard into deep navy — two-tone checks across the front, restrained and authoritative where the home is bold and expressive.

Somehow Croatia blue almost feels more synonymous of their recent success than the red and white. Will we see it in the business end of the tournament once again?

Croatia shirts to watch

Player-edition shirts worn and signed by the Croatia squad will be available exclusively on MWS throughout the tournament. Here's who to watch:

Luka Modrić

196 caps. Four World Cups. A Ballon d'Or. This is almost certainly his last tournament and anyone who follows shirt collecting knows what that means.

Modrić shirts from previous tournaments are already climbing in value — from the 2026 edition, worn in potentially his final games for Croatia, there will be nothing else like them.

Joško Gvardiol

Named in the Team of the Tournament in 2022 at just 20 years old, Gvardiol is no stranger to big game pressure on the international stage.

The demand for his shirts is already there — from a tournament where he's expected to come into his own as a senior defender at international level.

Ivan Perišić

One of a number of players who seem to find another level when they pull on the Croatia shirt.

Perišić is a giant of European football, a technical genius who has goals and assists in his blood.

With eight major tournaments already on his international football resume, he's another legendary name who could hang up his boots after the tournament.

Martin Baturina

The next great Croatian midfielder.

Baturina has made a real impression this season for Como and at international level — and collectors who get in early on a player like this tend not to regret it.

With 17 appearances already before the age of 23, this is the sort of tournament that establishes a career at international level.

Dominik Livaković

His penalty heroics in 2022 against Japan and then Brazil made him a national hero.

Goalkeeper shirts from moments like that are some of the most compelling pieces in any collection — and you wouldn't bey against Livaković being put in the same spotlight again during the tournament.
