This speed skating suit was worn by Femke Kok during all three distances in which she competed at the Winter Olympics 2026 in Milan–Cortina. On the 1,000 metres, she delivered a flawless race and set an Olympic record of 1:12.59, initially raising the benchmark for Jutta Leerdam and Miho Takagi, before ultimately securing the silver medal. On the 500 metres, Kok lived up to her status as favourite by claiming a historic Olympic title in a record time of 36.49, finishing ahead of Leerdam and Takagi and becoming the first Dutch woman ever to win Olympic gold in the shortest sprint distance. In the 1,500 metres, she skated in the opening pair and finished fifth overall.

In addition, this hybrid suit is the result of a multi-year development process, during which it has been continuously refined and optimised by Sportconfex, with the aim of ensuring that TeamNL athletes can compete as competitively as possible at the Winter Olympics.

Where the money goes

___________

Every Olympian started small: taking their first steps on a local natural ice rink or in their socks in front of the TV. The proceeds of these auctions will benefit the clubs where TeamNL’s athletes took their first steps in the sport and/or where they are currently active. These are the grassroots sports clubs where the foundations were laid for their performances at the Olympic Winter Games in Milan–Cortina. Through this auction, the athletes give something back to the places where their sporting journeys began, supporting the development of new talent and investing in the Dutch sporting heroes of tomorrow.
