Where the money goes
St. Benedict's HospiceSunderland AFC are raising vital funds in memory of their much-loved former colleague and coach, Carlton Fairweather, who sadly passed away earlier this year following a battle with pancreatic cancer.
The club have very kindly donated the match worn first team shirts from the recent away game at Crystal Palace FC.
The funds raised from the auction will support St Benedict’s Hospice, in gratitude for the exceptional care, compassion, and support they provided to Carlton and his family during his illness.
This special tribute is a way for Sunderland AFC to honour Carlton’s legacy and continue the values he championed within the club.
