This official Liverpool jersey was issued to Luis Suárez for the Premier League win over Everton at Anfield in January 2014.
In a 4-0 Merseyside derby victory, Suárez delivered the corner for Steven Gerrard's opening header, then seized on a loose pass near halfway and raced clear to add the fourth.
It comes from the finest individual season of his Liverpool career. In the famous number 7, he struck 31 times in 33 Premier League games during 2013/14, winning the Golden Boot, a share of Europe's Golden Shoe, and both the PFA and FWA Player of the Year awards.
In three and a half years with the Reds, Suárez produced 82 goals in 133 appearances, and his captain Gerrard has called him the best player he ever played alongside. The club counts him among the most talented, match-winning players in its history, and this jersey, issued for one of his great derby nights, is a piece of that spell.
