This official Wales shirt was worn by Joe Allen for the World Cup qualifying win against Scotland at the Cardiff City Stadium in October 2012.
Allen started in midfield and played the full 90 minutes as Wales came from behind to win 2-1. The shirt carries World Cup qualifying patches on the sleeves and a match inscription beneath the crest, details that tie it to this fixture.
The game belongs to the rise of the generation that would take Wales to Euro 2016. Allen was named in the Team of the Tournament that summer as his country reached the semi-finals.
It comes from the collection of Scotland midfielder Charlie Adam, who was introduced at half-time. Capped more than 70 times, Allen is a cornerstone of the most celebrated era in Welsh football.
