Buffon was 17 when he made his Serie A debut in November 1995, keeping a clean sheet against AC Milan. By 1999 he had helped Parma win the UEFA Cup and the Coppa Italia.
In 2001 Juventus made him the most expensive goalkeeper in history. He went on to win the 2006 World Cup and keep playing until he was 45.
