Stephanie van Bael's Collection

Stephanie started her collection 2.5 years ago when she received a jersey in person from Genk player Sandy Walsh for her birthday!

She and her girlfriend are both big soccer fans. When they found out our company was putting Real Madrid jerseys up for auction, they had a little celebration! Still, her most treasured items are the jerseys from De Bruyne, Lukaku, and Maehle. In the future, she hopes to own a Leroy Sane jersey and one from Maehle of the Danish national team.

She loves going to games with her partner and her grandma, who is a big soccer fan too. Her all-time favorite game was the 2016 Champions League match between Manchester City and Barcelona, where her favorite player, De Bruyne, also scored a goal!

Although many jersey collectors see a Messi or Ronaldo jersey as the ultimate achievement, Stephanie doesn’t feel that way. For her, it’s more important to have a jersey from a player who is close to his fans and seems to be a nice person off the field.
