Pumas: celebrating Mexican Independence in style!

It’s safe to assume that some of modern soccer’s greatest kits come from the Liga
MX, Mexico’s incredibly entertaining, passion-filled top division.
To meet our high expectations, at the start of the season, Pumas UNAM and
Nike released an instant classic.
The plain white jersey with navy blue details from 2020/21 morphed into an elegant
polo shirt, with azul details and, drumroll please, a massive golden puma on the
front. A special mention goes to Nike for creating these beauties using recycled
materials in an effort to reduce carbon emissions. Class.
If that wasn’t enough, on the occasion of the 2021 Mexican Independence Day
celebrated on September 16, the Mexican tricolor appears on the back of the
jerseys to create a unique shirt. A real collector’s item.
