Enter the Drawing to Win an Exclusive Squad-Signed Jersey

To help support the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal, MatchWornShirt is hosting a series of drawings, each featuring an exclusive squad-signed shirt.

Everyone who enters these drawings will have a chance to own a shirt from their favorite club signed by the club’s players.

What you need to know

To participate, all applicants for the drawings must be residents of Great Britain, be over eighteen years of age, and fully comply with all the terms outlined in the Conditions of Entry (please see below).

There are two ways you can take part in a drawing:

1 - You can purchase a ticket for £2.50. To do so, log in to your MatchWornShirt account and purchase a ticket in the same way you would normally place a bid. Each ticket purchased counts as one entry into the drawing.

2- You can mail a fully completed entry form (see entry form here) by first-class mail to our London office. Each completed entry form counts as one entry into the drawing.

Each participant may enter the drawing with up to 100 tickets per shirt. The net proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

1. Introduction

1.1 Frame the Game Ltd (“MWS”, \"we\", \"us\") manages and promotes Drawings.

1.2 Participants may enter online. Online Participants must have an Online Account.

1.3 All entries into and participation in a Drawing are strictly governed by these Terms. MWS reserves the right to amend these Terms from time to time and shall publish the most up-to-date version on the Website.

1.4 By entering a Draw, a Participant agrees to be bound by the version of the Terms in force on the day of entry.

1.5 The current Terms are displayed on the Website along with the Game Rules. MWS will provide a written copy of the Terms by mail if requested to do so upon receipt of a stamped, self-addressed envelope. Requests should be mailed to: Frame The Game Ltd, Gilbert House, Great West Quarter, Ealing Road, TW8 0GH.

1.6 Participants should participate responsibly.

2. Definitions

2.1 Capitalized words shall have the following meanings:

- “Draw” means the draw conducted by MWS to determine the winners of Prizes for each Draw;

- “Customer Support” means MWS customer support, which can be contacted via the www.matchwornshirt.com website;

- "Closing Date" means the date on which the Draw closes;

- “Draw Date” means the date on which a Winning Number will be chosen at random;

- “Excluded Person” means all persons who:

a.    Do not meet the eligibility criteria set out in Clause 3.1, are at any time in breach of the warranties in Clause 3.4 or the conditions in Clause 5.1;

b.    Any other person involved in the management, operation, or promotion of the Draw;

c.    Such other persons (or category of persons) as MWS may specify from time to time as being ineligible to participate in a Draw; or

d.    MWS believes, in its sole discretion, are using technology to gain an unfair advantage over other Participants.

-     “Key Technology Partner” means contractors involved in the development and support of the MWS Platform;

- “MWS”, "we", "us" means Frame the Game Ltd;

- “MWS Platform” means the computer system operated by MWS or its software suppliers or subcontractors for the purpose of registering Online Participants, accepting entries for the Draws, and selecting Winning Tickets;

- “Online Account” means an account opened by an Online Participant to participate in a Draw online;

- “Participant” and “Online Participant” ("you" or "your") means a person who purchases a Ticket in accordance with these Terms and who is not an Excluded Person;

- “Privacy Policy” means MWS’ privacy and data protection policy;

- “Prize” means the Prizes that may be won by entering a Draw in accordance with these Terms;

- “Terms” means these terms and conditions;

- “Ticket” means a Ticket purchased by, or given to a Participant by MWS as a method of free entry, to participate in a Draw;

- “Ticket Number” means the number displayed on a paper or digital Ticket;

- “Website” means the website(s) hosted on the MWS Platform, being the MWS company website;

- “Winning Numbers” means a number produced by MWS’ certified random number generator integrated into the MWS Platform which, during the process of selecting the numbers, will entitle the holders of a Ticket with a matching Ticket Number to a Prize.

3. Conditions of Entry

3.1 To enter the Draw and to be eligible to win a Prize, a person must be:

a.    18 years of age or older;

b.    A resident of Great Britain;

c.    Comply with these Terms;

d.    Not be an Excluded Person.

3.2 MWS will determine, in its sole discretion, relying on its own technical records and the Eligibility Criteria, whether a Participant is eligible to enter the Draw and receive a Prize.

3.3 MWS reserves the right to refuse you entry to the Draw and to withhold any Prize if it has reasonable grounds to believe that you have not complied with these Terms.

3.4 By purchasing a Ticket, Participants warrant that they:

a.    Are not a director, an employee, or an affiliate of MWS, or a Key Technology Partner;

b.    Are not a spouse or relative of any person described in 3.4a; and

c.    Fully understand that any misrepresentation of fact regarding the Participant’s eligibility, whether intentional or unintentional, will make the Participant an Excluded Person and ineligible to win a Prize.

4. How to enter the Prize Drawing

4.1 Participants can enter a Drawing either by purchasing a Ticket on the Website or for free by downloading a participation form from the Website and sending the completed form to MWS by first-class mail. All entries must be submitted before the Closing Date (whether via the Website or by mail).

4.2 You may submit multiple entries (up to any limit placed on entries by MWS). There are no discounts for purchasing multiple Tickets if you enter via the paid-entry method.

4.3 Each Ticket will list a Ticket Number for the Drawing. Prizes will be allocated based on the Ticket Number as provided in Clause 7.

4.4 A Ticket will only be valid for the Drawing to be held on the date(s) shown on the Ticket. It is the Participant’s responsibility to check that the date of the Drawing on their Ticket is correct. .

4.5 Ticket Numbers are issued at random and are not chosen by the Participant.

4.6 For the avoidance of doubt, a Participant may not seek cancellation of a Ticket based on the Ticket Number allocated to them. Ticket Numbers are issued at random and not chosen by the Participant.

4.7 The Participant is solely responsible for making sure that the Ticket remains safe and in good, legible condition.

4.8 MWS does not accept any responsibility for lost, stolen, damaged or defaced Tickets. Prizes will not be awarded if the relevant Ticket cannot be produced. It is a condition of these Terms that the Winner is able to produce a copy of the winning Ticket.

4.9 All online entries are final. Refunds will only be issued to Online Participants in the event of unauthorized use of their payment card. Online Participants must notify MWS by email using the email address registered with their Online Account within 5 hours of purchasing a Ticket in order to be eligible for the refund.

4.10 No refunds will be issued under any circumstances after the close of the Drawing to which a particular Ticket relates. Each Participant accepts that if their request for a refund is approved, their Ticket will be withdrawn from the applicable Draw and will not be eligible for any Prizes.

5. The Draw

5.1 It is a condition for entering the Draw that all Participants must be located in Great Britain (for the avoidance of doubt, this excludes Northern Ireland). Participants agree that entering a Draw or seeking to participate in a Draw while located anywhere other than Great Britain is strictly prohibited. In such circumstances:

  1. The Participant shall be considered an Excluded Person; and

  2. MWS has the right to terminate the Participant’s Online Account or reject the mail-in form and withhold any Prize.

  3. In order for MWS to determine whether an Online Participant is eligible to open an Online Account, the Online Participant must provide MWS with certain personal information specified by MWS (such as their full name, home address, cell phone number, and email address). This information is also required for Participants who enter the Draw via the free entry route (see clause 6);

  4. MWS reserves the right to carry out further checks or request information from Participants during or after registration for an Online Account, or during or after submission of a mail-in entry via the free entry route, to verify that the Participants and the information supplied by the Participants meet the Eligibility Criteria set out in these Terms.

  5. Participants may be asked whether they wish to be contacted for advertising, promotional, and marketing purposes in accordance with the terms of the Privacy Policy. If Participants wish to be removed from the mailing list, they should click the unsubscribe link shown in all emails sent to them. They may also contact Customer Support. MWS may still be required to share winning Participants’ personal data with the Advertising Standard Authority (ASA) on request to prove that a valid Draw has taken place, and it is a condition of accepting a Prize that the Participant consents to MWS sharing their personal data with the ASA in these circumstances.

  6. Online Participants are responsible for keeping their login details secure. Participants must inform MWS immediately of any unauthorized access to an Online Account. If an Online Participant forgets their password, the Online Participant must follow the instructions on the registration or login page in order to obtain a new password.

  7. Should the Participant’s payment method expire, the Participant needs to update their payment card details through the Online Account.

  8. It is the responsibility of the Participant to ensure that the information provided by the Participant is accurate and up to date.

  9. Participant payment details are not stored on the Website.

  10. An Online Participant may close an Online Account at any time by contacting Customer Support.

  11. MWS, in its sole discretion, may terminate, vary, or suspend any provision of the Draw or access to an Online Account without prior notice:

i.              In the event of a breach of these Terms;

ii.              For maintenance work required to upgrade or update the Website;

iii.            If MWS ceases to offer Draws; or

iv.            Where it is necessary to do so to comply with Applicable Law.

  1. Insofar as permitted by law, MWS, its agents, or distributors will not under any circumstances be responsible for or liable to compensate the Winner, or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death occurring as a result of accepting the Prize, except where it is caused by the negligence of MWS, its agents or distributors, or that of their employees. The Participants' statutory rights are not affected.

6. Free Entry Method

6.1 You may enter the competition for free by meeting the following conditions:

  1. Send your fully completed entry form by first-class mail to Frame The Game Ltd, Unit 1, FOI Draw Coordinator, Gilbert House, Great West Quarter, Ealing Road, TW8 0GH.

  2. Hand-delivered entries will not be accepted and will not be entered into the Draw.

  3. Include the following information with your entry form:

  4. Your full name;

  5. Your address;

  6. Your age;

  7. A contact phone number and email address registered on the MWS Website;

  8. The Draw you wish to participate in.

7. The Draw and Prizes

7.1 The Draws will take place online.

7.2 The results of the Draw will be published on the Website, and a Prize will be awarded only to a Participant holding a Ticket whose Ticket Number matches the Winning Number(s) selected by the Website. Participants will be notified automatically at their registered email address if they have won a Prize.

7.3 For each Draw, the Winning Number will be chosen at random.

7.4 Where a Ticket Number matches a Winning Number, Prizes will be awarded to the holders of Tickets with those matching Ticket Numbers as follows:

  1. If a Winning Number for a Prize is matched by the Ticket Number on a Participant’s Ticket, the Participant will win the Prize as promoted by MWS.

  2. If a Winning Number for a runner-up or consolation Prize is matched by the Ticket Number on a Participant’s Ticket, the Participant will win the relevant runner-up or consolation Prize.

7.5 Participants who have won a Prize can contact Customer Support as set forth in the email notifying the Winner.

7.6 MWS will only make Prizes available to Participants after verifying the winning Participant’s identity. The identity details used to receive Prize winnings must match the Participant’s identity details at the time they entered the Draw.

7.7 No Prize will be provided on a Ticket that has been forged, altered, damaged, or defaced in any way.

7.8 No Prize will be paid on a Ticket that fails MWS’s validation process.
7.9 Any Participant with a winning Ticket may be required to provide proof of their identity, age, and compliance with these Terms as required by MWS before the Prize is provided. .

7.10 Where a Prize is given to an Excluded Person, a person in breach of these Terms, or is otherwise paid in error, the Prize must be returned to MWS immediately.

7.11 MWS shall provide the Prize to the Winner within fourteen (14) business days of receiving satisfactory proof of the Participant’s identity and validation of the Winning Number on the Ticket submitted for verification. MWS will not be liable for delays in awarding the Prize resulting from inaccurate details provided by a Participant.

7.12 Each Winner is responsible for paying any and all taxes due on any Prize(s) won.

7.13 Prizes must be claimed no later than 12:00 PM thirty (30) days following the day of the Draw.

7.14 Any Prize not claimed within thirty (30) days will be forfeited and returned to MWS.

7.15 Except when required to do so by law, MWS will not publicly disclose information about Winners without first obtaining their written consent.

7.16 The prize is provided by The Royal British Legion.

7.17 The prize for the Winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternative is offered.

7.18 If, for any reason, a valid Draw does not take place because the Winner is ineligible for any reason, then MWS will rerun the Draw until a Winner fulfills the Eligibility Criteria.

7.19 Any questions or complaints relating to any Draw should be directed to Customer Support.

8. Payment

8.1 If a Participant’s payment card is lost, the Participant will be required to contact Customer Support.

9. Self-Exclusion

9.1 Any Participant has the option to notify MWS at any time that they wish to be excluded from purchasing Tickets for future Draws by visiting the Website. For Online Participants, at the start of the self-exclusion period, their Online Account will be suspended.

9.2 Participants may choose the length of the period during which they will be excluded from purchasing Tickets.

10. MWS’s Limitation of Liability & Reservation of Rights

10.1 Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit MWS’s liability for fraudulent misrepresentation or death or personal injury resulting from MWS’s gross negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

10.2 MWS will not be liable for any loss or damage, including the loss of the opportunity to enter a given Draw and/or the right to receive a Prize(s), suffered by a Participant if such Participant has not complied with these Terms.

10.3 Subject to Clause 10.1, MWS shall not be liable in contract, tort (including but not limited to negligence), or otherwise in connection with the Draws for:

  1. Loss of revenue, contract, profits, business or anticipated savings or loss of data;

  2. Any special or indirect or consequential losses;

  3. Any loss of goodwill or reputation; or

  4. The loss of the opportunity to enter a Draw and/or the right to receive a Prize.

10.4 Subject to Clause 10.1, MWS's liability to any Participant shall be limited to the amount of any Prize which may have become due to that Participant upon confirmation of that Participant as a Winner.

10.5 MWS makes no warranty, representation or guarantee that use of the Websites, Customer Support and telephone system will be uninterrupted, timely and/or error-free.

10.6 Where the Website contains links to other sites and resources provided by third parties, these links are provided for the Participant's information only. Such links should not be interpreted as approval by MWS of such linked websites, the content of such websites, or information a Participant may obtain from them. MWS has no control over the contents of such sites or resources, and links from the Website should not be interpreted as an endorsement in any way by MWS.

10.7 Nothing contained in these Terms shall affect the statutory rights of any Participant or MWS.

11. Intellectual Property

11.1 The Participant acknowledges that, as between the Participant and MWS, all intellectual property rights in the Draw belong to MWS and its affiliates, and that the Participant has no intellectual property rights in, or to, any Draw, or the Website.

12. Data Protection

12.1 All information provided by Participants to MWS for the purposes of the Draw will be stored, managed and used in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

13.1 These Terms are governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts. However, if a Participant lives in Scotland, the Participant can bring legal proceedings in either the Scottish or the English courts.

14. Refund Policy

14.1 Ticket purchases are non-refundable.
