MWS x KitAid: Helping the world one jersey at a time!

As we wrap up 2021, we can look back at a year filled with exciting moments, incredible memories, and tons of match-worn jerseys! We made new friends, started new partnerships, and contributed to the fundraising efforts of numerous clubs and charities from around the world! Our goal is to make the next 12 months just as remarkable by bringing even more smiles to people’s faces through the power of soccer!

We want to set the tone and expectations for 2022 by doing some good! Our colleague, Tim, is as passionate a soccer fan as anyone, and he had the amazing idea of donating his old soccer jerseys to underprivileged children from some of the world’s poorest countries. Together with Kit Aid, we have launched a charitable initiative that aims to collect old soccer jerseys and donate them to children in Ghana.

We have chosen to support the so-called "Coach the Coach" project, which offers soccer enthusiasts in Ghana the opportunity to develop their knowledge of soccer and contributes to the education and personal development of youth groups across the country. Kit Aid, which is England’s largest soccer charity with operations in more than 55 countries, has managed to send more than 200,000 kits to underprivileged children in 2021 alone and will help us deliver the collected shirt to the intended recipients.
