Founded in 1993, the club was originally called San Vicente CFF before eventually being renamed Levante shortly after winning its first top-flight domestic championship! Following their “rookie” success, the team went on a historic run, winning 3 league championships and 6 Copa de la Reina titles between 1997 and 2008, including two domestic doubles in 2001 and 2002. Their rise to stardom was legendary and marked one of soccer’s greatest “Cinderella stories”!
Nowadays, the team is arguably even better than before! Led by Spanish coach Ángel Villacampa, the star-studded squad features Brazilian phenom Giovana Queiroz, Macedonia’s national soccer team captain Nataša Andonova, and two-time UEFA Golden Player winner Sandie Toletti, among others. The star-studded squad has consistently finished in the league’s top 3 over the past few years and is looking to secure its 4th league title during the 2021/2022 campaign!
