For many, Brazil and the beautiful game are almost synonymous. The nation has produced some of the biggest names in world soccer and is home to some of the game's most iconic players, with the likes of Pelé, Garrincha, Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, and Kaká all hailing from the South American country. The nation continues to develop soccer talent, with a younger generation of players forging their way into the history books as well as the hearts of fans all over the world.
Unsurprisingly, this soccer-loving nation has a long list of world-renowned clubs, including Brazil's most internationally decorated club, São Paulo.
Over the course of the club's 91-year history, it has amassed 12 international titles, such as the Copa Libertadores, the Copa Sudamericana, and the FIFA Club World Cup, as well as countless national titles. Despite experiencing a less fruitful period in recent years, the club has managed to turn things around and rise back to the top, with its superstar squad featuring the likes of Dani Alves, Liziero, and Luciano. ‘O Clube da Fé’ (The Faith Team) clinched the Brazilian State Championship against fierce rivals Palmeiras in the ‘Choque Rei’.
For this special occasion, the amazing kits that helped bring the club back to glory are now available to fans and collectors.
The team wore its beautiful home kit, whose simplicity makes it both iconic and beautiful. The shirts have a white base and bear the club’s ‘Tricolor’ stripes (red, white, and black) across the chest, with the SPFC’s crest in the middle. Above the logo are five stars, two in gold and three in red. The gold denotes the world and Olympic records of Adhemar Ferreira da Silva, a Brazilian triple jumper who was born in São Paulo, and the red represents each of the Intercontinental and Club World Cups won by São Paulo.
This is your opportunity to get a piece of São Paulo FC’s glorious history and its state championship-winning season, while also getting an incredibly good-looking shirt!
