International Women’s Day 2025

March 8 is a day of unity, recognition, and inclusion. At MatchWornShirt, we’re celebrating International Women’s Day with a series of auctions that bring together teams from around the world to highlight the impact of women’s sports.

This year, we’re offering our largest-ever collection of match-worn & signed soccer jerseys from more than 70 clubs and national teams, bringing fans closer than ever before to women’s soccer.

Access to unique soccer memorabilia

This year’s International Women’s Day lineup features some of the most recognizable clubs in women’s soccer, including Real Madrid, AS Roma, AC Milan, Chelsea, and Olympique Lyonnais, alongside national teams like Germany, Scotland, and Norway.

The special auctions give fans the opportunity to own truly unique collector's items, with one highlight being match-worn & signed Como Women jerseys, marking the first time ever the club’s jerseys—which have never previously been sold commercially—have been made available to fans.

Among the top players included is Spanish World Cup hero Olga Carmona, who recently found the net in Real Madrid Femenino’s Liga F win over Athletic Bilbao with a sensational chip from 40 yards. Her jersey from that match is up for grabs, along with that of her teammate and 2023 Ballon d'Or Féminin nominee Linda Caicedo, one of the most electrifying young talents in world soccer.

Speaking of the Ballon d’Or: Ada Hegerberg, the first woman to win soccer’s most prestigious individual award, has both her Norway and Lyon jerseys featured in the auctions.

Special LFP initiative 

Beyond the women’s game, French soccer is also making a powerful statement this weekend. Between March 7 and 9, every men’s team in Ligue 1 and Ligue 2—including PSG, Lille OSC, and Olympique de Marseille—will take the field without player names on their jerseys. Instead, the jerseys will feature “WO=MAN”, symbolizing the ongoing push for gender equality and inclusion in soccer.
