How it works
The most common question we’re asked is: “How does MatchWornShirt work?”
The answer is simple: We partner directly and exclusively with over 400 soccer clubs and national teams to put game-worn and signed jerseys in the hands of fans through our online auction platform.
We work closely with equipment managers, who collect the jerseys in the locker room after the game, make sure they're signed by the players, and send them to our offices for final authentication. Then we deliver these pieces of club history to fans and collectors around the world!

1. COLLECTED IN THE LOCKER ROOM
Auctions generally go live starting at kickoff. The equipment managers collect the jerseys from the players immediately after the game, oversee the signing, and ship them to one of our offices.

2. AUTHENTICATED BY OUR TEAM
We’re rigorous in our authentication process. Once the jerseys arrive, our team does a final check to ensure that all jerseys are genuine and correctly listed on our platform.

3. DIGITAL CERTIFICATION WITH FABRICKS
Using Fabricks’ groundbreaking technology, we create a digital certificate of authenticity for each shirt. The certificate verifies the jersey’s identity, providing access to a wealth of information about it, including details about the player and the match.

4. SHIRT IMAGES UPLOADED
Before the auction closes, the digital mockups uploaded at kickoff are replaced with high-definition images of the game-worn shirts, so you can see the all-important signatures and other unique details.

5. THE WINNING BID
If you're the highest bidder when the auction finishes, the shirt is yours!

6. DELIVERY SENT OUT TO YOU
We carefully prepare your shirt, and it’s shipped within 1-2 business days. Once it arrives, you'll have a unique piece of soccer history in your hands.
