OVK/SAVE: Parents of road victimsOn Saturday 21 May 2022, the Red Lions and Carlsberg (Belgium) joined forces to encourage responsible drinking when it comes to alcoholic drinks. During the Pro League Hockey match against the Red Sticks (Spain), the Red Lions started the third quarter with jerseys with the players’ names wrongly printed...as if the person in charge of the printing had done it in a drunken state! Red Lions goalkeeper Vincent Vanasch’s name was spelled ‘Vnasach’ for example, and Boon’s shirt appeared as ‘Bono’. A symbolic call to drink responsibly during the all too often infamous third half after the match.
All proceeds from the sale of these unique and collectible shirts will be donated to SAVE asbl: Parents of Road Traffic Victims. A non-profit organisation whose mission is to accompany, support and help families who have lost a child as a result of a road accident.Inlijstservice
