This suit was worn during the 2nd stage of the Vuelta, a flat stage with a summit finish to Limone Piemonte. Team Picnic PostNL rode tightly as a unit throughout the afternoon, held position well at the front of the bunch as the kilometres ticked down, aiming to set up Kevin Vermaerke for the finale. As the pace really ramped up, the top GC riders fought it out for the stage win and Vermaerke came home in a group 21 seconds behind the winner.
