This suit was worn during stage 1 of the Tour of Holland, the first open road stage of the Tour of Holland on the outskirts of Dordrecht before the peloton made their way into the city for the finale. From the start Team Picnic PostNL set out their stall with Fabio Jakobsen, on his return to racing after his collarbone injury, setting the tempo at the head of the peloton behind the break. Eventually those ahead were brought back in and the pace ramped up even further for the finale. Team Picnic PostNL rode well as a unit and coming into the closing kilometres brought forward sprint finisher Tobias Lund Andresen, after some good positioning work by John Degenkolb and Nils Eekhoff. Lund Andresen could then follow the sprint on the inside and produced a good kick to take third place on the day.
