This official Liverpool shirt was worn by Rio Ngumoha for the Champions League win against Villarreal at Anfield in October 2026.
With Liverpool two goals down, Ngumoha turned the night. His cross set up Ronald Araújo’s equaliser before half-time, and a run past Sergi Cardona created Alexis Mac Allister’s go-ahead strike in a 4-3 comeback. The display earned him Player of the Match and a place in the club’s record books.
It is the latest landmark in a rapid rise at Anfield. Ngumoha arrived from Chelsea’s academy in 2024 and, aged 16, became the youngest scorer in Liverpool history with a stoppage-time winner at Newcastle.
Signed by Ngumoha, this shirt captures the evening an 18-year-old announced himself on Europe’s biggest stage, an early chapter in what promises to be a long story in red.
