OutrideOutride is a US-based public non-profit 501(c)(3) cycling organization that partners with schools, community partners, coaches, teams, and cyclists to advance more equitable, inclusive, and healthy futures for youth. Their mission is to increase access to cycling for young people so that every kid can experience the freedom, joy, and community that riding a bike can provide.
What Outride does -
Conduct and fund research to better understand how riding a bike impacts our brains, how we think and feel.
Partner with schools so students achieve academic, health, and social success. Outride provides middle schools everything they need to get their 6th-8th grade students riding: bikes, helmets, curriculum, and teacher training.
Increase community-level access to cycling through the Outride Fund -- awarding matching grants to programs that get more kids on bikes.
