Ben Swift | Stage 5

This jersey was worn during stage 5 of the Tour of Britain, the penultimate stage that saw AJ August and Thymen Arensman battle it out on The Tumble climb.

Created in collaboration with Gobik, this one-of-a-kind jersey was personally designed by G to honour the people, places, and victories that defined his journey in cycling. Every detail carries meaning, making it far more than just a race jersey. The key details are:

• ⁠Welsh Heritage: The jersey’s bold red base pays tribute to G’s roots, inspired by the colours of the Welsh rugby team.

• The Dragon Motif: Central to the design is a dragon filled with the names of teammates, staff, and friends who supported him throughout his career.

• Career Highlights Woven In: Subtle details nod to his greatest achievements, from Olympic triumphs and a National Road Championship victory to his unforgettable Tour de France win.

• Personal Touches: A hand-drawn piece from G’s son, plus a depiction of the iconic Alpe d’Huez route and one of G’s favourite quotes, make this jersey uniquely his. Please note this replica has a black and white version of this drawing.
