This official Tottenham Hotspur shirt was worn by Luka Modrić for the Premier League clash against Blackpool at Bloomfield Road in February 2011.
Spurs arrived on the seaside a week after beating AC Milan at San Siro in the Champions League, but it became one of the great nights of Blackpool's only Premier League season. Charlie Adam, from whose collection this shirt comes, captained the Seasiders and opened the scoring from the penalty spot.
Modrić was the heartbeat of that Tottenham side, signed from Dinamo Zagreb in 2008. A year later he joined Real Madrid, where he collected six Champions League titles, and in 2018 he became the first player other than Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo to win the Ballon d'Or in a decade.
