This official Pan-American All-Stars shirt was issued to Jorge Campos for the Kobe Earthquake Benefit Match win against a Rest of the World XI at the National Stadium in Tokyo in August 1995.
The Americas side, packed with stars such as Dunga and Carlos Valderrama, won 5-1. Campos started in goal and later returned as an outfield substitute, true to a keeper who also scored as a striker in Mexican league football.
This No. 1 was made in the team design for him, yet Campos chose to play in one of his own bright, self-designed tops.
For Mexico he started at two World Cups, won two Gold Cups and lifted the 1999 Confederations Cup. This shirt captures Campos as the continent saw him: a showman chosen among the best in the Americas.
