This speed skating suit was worn by Kjeld Nuis during the 1500m at the Winter Olympics in Milan–Cortina, where he won the Olympic bronze medal. In Milan, the 36-year-old Dutchman, in what was his final Olympic race, finished behind surprise winner Ning Zhongyan and favorite Jordan Stolz, who took gold and silver. With this bronze, Nuis concludes his Olympic career and, with three Olympic medals, becomes the most successful male skater ever in the 1,500 meters. He previously won Olympic gold in this distance in 2018 and 2022. In addition, this hybrid suit is the result of a multi-year development process, during which it has been continuously refined and optimised by Sportconfex, with the aim of ensuring that TeamNL athletes can compete as competitively as possible at the Winter Olympics.
