Eine starke Gesellschaft wird daran gemessen, wie sie ihre jüngsten Mitglieder behandelt. Das ist die Botschaft hinter dem Weltkindertag am 20. September, der von UNICEF Deutschland und dem Deutschen Kinderhilfswerk ins Leben gerufen wurde. Der SV Werder Bremen rückt in diesem Jahr die Kinderrechte in den Mittelpunkt, nicht nur am Tag selbst, sondern auch im Vorfeld. Um dieses Engagement sichtbar zu machen, trugen die Spieler und Spielerinnen spezielle Aufwärmshirts mit dem Motto „Klare Kante für Kinderrechte”.
A strong society is measured by how it treats its youngest members. This is the message behind World Children’s Day on September 20, initiated by UNICEF Germany and the German Children’s Fund. SV Werder is putting children’s rights in the spotlight this year, not only on the day itself but also in the lead-up to it. To make this commitment visible, the players wore special warm-up shirts carrying the motto „Klare Kante für Kinderrechte” – “Clear Stand for Children’s Rights”.

SV Werder Bremen StiftungDie Einnahmen bei Werder Bremen gehen an die SV Werder Bremen Stiftung und werden entsprechend dem Stiftungszweck verwendet. Die Stiftung unterstützt u.a. ausgewählte soziale Projekte rund um die Themen Sport, Bildung, Völkerverständigung und Gewaltprävention und hilft bei der Umsetzung des SPIELRAUM-Konzepts. Das SPIELRAUM-Konzept zielt darauf ab, die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer in ihrer Persönlichkeitsentwicklung zu unterstützen, sie für Sport und Bewegung zu begeistern und sie zu ermutigen, Verantwortung zu übernehmen.
The revenues at Werder Bremen will go to the Werder Bremen Foundation (SV Werder Bremen Stiftung) and will be used in accordance with the foundation's purpose. The foundation supports, inter alia, chosen social projects around the topic sports, education, international understanding and preventing violence and helps implementing the SPIELRAUM concept. The SPIELRAUM concept is aimed at supporting participants in continuing their personal growth, developing an enthusiasm for sport and exercise and encouraging them to take on responsibility.
