These high class performance helmets were engineered in Germany and produced in ABUS’ factory in Italy. The design of the helmet is a link to the Grand Départ of this year's Tour de France in Northern Europe and the Danish bicycle safety campaign “Real Vikings Wear Helmets”, initiated by the Danish Road Safety Council and supported by ABUS Nordic.

With bicycle helmets reducing the risk of serious head injury by about 60%, helmet manufacturer ABUS is happy to equip “their” riders safely and to further promote the wearing of helmets among young people and adults. To promote the wearing of helmets, ABUS not only supports bicycle safety campaigns such as “Real Vikings Wear Helmets” and “Helmets have always been a good idea”, but also partners up with “Save-my-brain”, a foundation for the prevention and aftercare of head injuries which will be receiving the proceeds of this auction.
