IIS is India’s first privately funded High Performance Olympic training Centre supported by 25+ corporates and offers talented athletes 100% scholarships to realise their sporting potential. IIS was started with the vision of enabling India to achieve glory at the international stage and on the rationale that India lacks the ecosystem to nurture young and talented high potential talent. For the first time ever, Indian athletes are getting access to world class infrastructure, internationally certified qualified coaches, sports science interventions, nutritional and educational support. Their mission is to not only win medals at the podium for India but more importantly, to develop well rounded individuals through the power of sport. IIS has expanded its footprint through Feeder centres across Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Odisha impacting over 500 young talented athletes. Since inception, their athletes have won an impressive 460+ medals including 3 Olympic medals (Neeraj Chopra, Bajrang Punia and Sakshi Malik), 12 Asian Games and Commonwealth Games medals and set 17+ National records with 75 National Champions.
