Introducing: The Dunga Collection

Publicado em 14 de outubro de 2026
Dunga holds a yellow and green Brazil soccer jersey with number 8, part of his collection of auctions with MWS.

The Seleção skipper who made the game's ugly side beautiful

World Cup Final, 1994. Brazil and Italy can't be separated, and with the shootout on a knife-edge, the captain makes the long walk to the spot.

Dunga scores. Moments later, he's lifting the World Cup towards the California sky.

Dunga did the work others didn't want to do. In a Brazil team of artists and magicians, he won the ball, set the tempo and kept everyone in line – and as captain, he brought the World Cup home for the first time in 24 years.

Every shirt he wore, it was the same steel and character. From Internacional to Serie A, the Bundesliga and Japan, into a second World Cup final as captain in 1998, and later into the Seleção dugout. Wherever he went, Dunga led.

Shirts from The Dunga Collection – match-worn, match-issued and signed – were donated by players who wanted to help the man who brought the biggest trophy in football back to Brazil.

The net proceeds from every Dunga auction go to Instituto Dunga, supporting children, families and the elderly in Porto Alegre.

Every Wednesday, Legend Collection gives you rare opportunities to own worn & signed shirts from football icons. Follow for alerts when the next collection drops.

Collection highlights

Match-worn Dunga shirt | 1997

The world champion's number 8, worn in Le Tournoi

Yellow soccer jersey with a blue and green CBF emblem, four stars above and "Brasil" text below.

Three years on from Pasadena, Dunga was still the man Brazil built around. Romário and a 20-year-old Ronaldo took the headlines – the man behind them gave them the platform to perform.

This shirt comes from Le Tournoi in June 1997, the reigning world champions' dress rehearsal tournament on French soil, and a 1-0 win over England at the Parc des Princes.

A year later, Dunga was back in France, leading the Seleção all the way to another World Cup final.

Match-worn Raphinha shirt | 2023

From the streets of Porto Alegre to Camp Nou

A yellow football jersey with "RAPHINHA" and number 11 hanging; Raphinha wearing the same jersey, poised to kick a ball on the field.

Raphinha was born in Porto Alegre, the city this collection supports. His road to FC Barcelona ran through Portugal, France and England – the long way round, with every step earned.

By December 2023, he was the one making things happen for Barça, like the cut-back that opened the scoring for João Félix at Mestalla. This worn & signed shirt from the 2025 Ballon d'Or nominee comes from that night in Valencia.

Match-worn Estêvão shirt | 2025

The next great Brazilian talent

Every generation of the Seleção has its prodigy. Right now, it's Estêvão – nicknamed Messinho at Palmeiras, and a Chelsea star by 18.

Stamford Bridge saw what the fuss was about against Wolves in November 2025, when he needed just a minute off the bench to set up fellow Brazilian João Pedro. This one's a future classic from a player ready to explode.

Match-worn Bruno Guimarães shirt | 2025

The captain who ended Newcastle's long wait

Copa Sudamericana glory with Athletico Paranaense, Olympic gold with Brazil in Tokyo – Bruno Guimarães has a habit of winning. At Newcastle United, he became the captain who ended the club's long wait for domestic silverware, lifting the League Cup in 2025.

This shirt comes from his final season in black and white (blue and orange in this case), worn at Brentford in November 2025. A summer later, Arsenal came calling – and he took the number with him, the winning habit too.
